I came across this old picture of Henrik as (I'm only guessing) a teenager back in Sweden wearing braces. I had them as a kid as well, so it's cool to see he had them too. At least he had them back then, unlike another NHL goalie in our area who had them as an adult:

Here's a rough translation:
ReplyDeleteDuring the first archive clip he says:
-"My name is Henrik Lundqvist and I'm a goalie in Frölunda...and I think I'm pretty good with my glove"
Then when they show Henrik while showing him the clip he says:
-"Do you have to show that?"
Then on the other archive clip he says:
-"When I was younger I dreamed about the NHL but now my big goal is to take a place in Frölunda in two years"
The last thing he says is:
-"Ah well my haircut is just perfect"

I am not sure if I have any more videos. Nothing old like this, unfortunately. I got this one from a friend of mine. He is a big Frölunda fan and now of course loves the Rangers since Henrik is there. I can ask him if he has anything new, but I doubt it. :/
