Rangers’ Lundqvist Sells Condo

Henrik Lundqvist, a Swede who plays goalie for the New York Rangers and for his country’s Olympic team, has sold his condo on the Upper West Side. The apartment, at 225 West 83rd Street, is a 1,300-square-foot two-bedroom with an open floor plan on the 20th floor of the postwar building.

Mr. Lundqvist has played for the Rangers since 2005, and he is the only goalie in National Hockey League history to have 30 or more victories in each of his first five seasons, according to the team’s Web site.

The final sale price was not available, but the asking price was $1.75 million. According to StreetEasy, a Web site that tracks listing information, it went into contract just less than a month after it came on the market.
