In his second season as Lundqvist's backup, Antti Raanta has noticed how hard Lundqvist can be on himself, even after losses in which he wasn't at fault.
"Sometimes you just want to go over there and hug him and be like 'Everything's OK,'" Raanta said. "But that's how he is, and then he comes in the next day and he works, work and works, and then the next game he's gonna make sure the 2-1 loss is gonna turn into a 2-1 win. That's something that's just remarkable."
