Henrik Lundqvist is the first Rangers goalie who has made 50 or more saves in two consecutive games since Gump Worsley (Jan. 27, 1963 and Jan. 30, 1963). Henrik Lundqvist is the only goaltender in Rangers history (since shots and saves were tracked in 1955-56) to win two games in which he has made 50 saves. Henrik Lundqvist earned his 25th win of the season tonight. He is one of three goaltenders in NHL history who have earned at least 25 wins in 12 or more seasons (Martin Brodeur – 15; Patrick Roy – 14). Henrik Lundqvist is the first goaltender in NHL history (since saves were first tracked in 1955-56) to make 50 or more saves and earn a win in two consecutive games. Per @EliasSports, Lundqvist also became the first goalie for any NHL team to make 50 or more saves in two consecutive games since Worsley did so with the Blueshirts.
