Henrik Lundqvist made 34 saves in tonight's game, and he stopped 26 of 27 shots he faced during 5-on-5 play in the contest. He appeared in his 811th career game as a Ranger tonight, tying Jim Neilson for the eighth-most regular season appearances by a Rangers player (skater or goaltender) in franchise history. Lundqvist has made at least 30 saves in four of his six appearances thus far in 2018-19.
