Henrik Lundqvist turned aside all 38 shots faced to post his third shutout of the season and 48th of his career. He improves his record to 16-17-3 overall, including an 8-10-3 mark at home this season. It is the ninth time he has registered 30 or more saves in a game this season, and is now 6-2-1 with a 2.53 goals against average, .933 save percentage, and one shutout in those contests. Lundqvist is now one shutout shy of Ed Giacomin’s franchise record, 49 career shutouts as a Ranger.
