Henrik Lundqvist Sommarkvall Interview





Henrik joins the program around the 41 minute mark.  The show includes some previously unseen footage of Henrik in the locker room immediately following the Game 5 loss to the Kings. Henrik Lundqvist Really Loves the Rangers





Henrik Lundqvist, 32, will most likely not end hockey career in Frölunda Gothenburg - he wants to stay in New York.
- Now I've got feelings for an organization that I did not think I would get more than for Frölunda in fact, he says in SVT's "Summer Evening" which airs on Saturday.

Star goalie is home on a visit to Gothenburg in the midst of the heat wave, including to record Saturday's episode of "Summer" with Richard Olsson, 47, Trädgår'n.
Henrik Lundqvist says in the program that many come up to him on the street in Gothenburg - and he likes it.
- It's hard to find it hard when people only have positive things to say.

He also talks about the pressure he feels in the NHL and in his New York Rangers after nine seasons.
- Now it is very concerning to maintain itself. Many come from below and want to take your place. One must push themselves to maintain itself. It's tough, he says, and continues:
- It is important to find a healthy approach, to think the right way and at the same time trying to develop itself, for the game evolves much.

Henrik Lundqvist explains in "Summer Evening" that his old club Frölunda, has a great location in the heart but to the feelings of the New York Rangers is now bigger.
- Now I've got feelings for an organization that I did not think I would get more than for Frölunda actually. They have looked after me fantastically.

That he has built a social life around the club also plays a role, says Henrik Lundqvist in the "Summer".
