Henrik Lundqvist Felt Guilty During Game Vs. Philadelphia

“I have to say that I think I was playing with a guilty feeling because I miscalculated the time, showed up an hour late and missed the meeting,” revealed The King, who had made a couple of brilliant saves that included one on a breakaway early in the first period of Friday’s victory. “I know how important the first few minutes are, both to me and to the group.”

Henrik Lundqvist on Swedish TV Show "Here's Your Fridge" (Go Inside his Apartment in Sweden)

Thanks to reader Maxie for sending me the link to this Swedish TV show, "Here's Your Fridge." A professional chef came to Henrik's apartment in Sweden and used the random ingredients found in his refrigerator to cook a meal.

Here's the link:

Here are some screenshots from it:

I would really appreciate it if a Swedish speaker could please translate the interview. Thank you in advance.

Thanks to Anna we have a partial translation of the show. Here it is:

It would take quite some time to translate it all, and a lot of the things said have been said many times before during other interviews. Like how they came to Gothenburg aged 16, how Henrik moved to the NHL before Joel and how special it was to play against him for the first time. The only things that were new to me were:

- He loves to draw, at least he did when he was a child.
- Even in school he competed with Joel, they both wanted to get the highest grades. It was Henrik who got the higher grades.

Otherwise it's mostly about the food, the cook has quite a hard time because there's basically only breakfast ingredients in Henrik's kitchen. He seems to love liquorice (best candy ever, I have to agree with him) so the dessert is partly made out of that.

If anyone else would like to contribute more to that, you are more than welcome to.
